Veteran actress Rekha under home quarantine after staff tests positive for COVID-19

Recently, veteran actress Rekha’s bungalow was sealed by BMC after a security guard tested positive for COVID-19. They have also put an official note outside her bungalow declaring it a containment zone.

It was being reported that the actress will undergo a COVID-19 test. According to the latest reports, Rekha is under home quarantine and her hand has also been stamped for the same. Rekha's bungalow is situated in the Bandstand area of Bandra, Mumbai, and is named Sea Springs.


Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan and his family also tested positive on the same day. Big B and his son Abhishek Bachchan are in the hospital, while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya are under home quarantine. The senior Bachchan updated everyone about his health on social media after reports started doing the rounds on July 11. Taking to his Twitter account, he wrote, “T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive ..shifted to Hospital.. hospital informingauthorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited .. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !”
Soon after his tweet, even Abhishek posted and confirmed that he has also tested positive for COVID-19. His tweet read, “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you. 🙏🏽”
